Wouldn't it be nice though if the Charity shops could organise some kind of Jumble Sale for all the stuff that is being donated? Its hardly Car Boot weather at the moment, however much one wants to help.

The charities are recommending that you sell items at a car boot and give them the money they say it is of more use. As they can source things more cheaply in the asia-pasific It costs a fortune to transport items like clothes over there and most charities are saying they have more clothes than they know what to do with at the moment

I was going to give to my M-I-L to sell at a carboot. I now think it would be best being sent for those who might need it from the Tsunami Disaster. Does anyone know where I can take it or leave it? I'm in Surrey/SW London. Naomi
