Is anyone else aiming to watch this? As a 16 year old in the early 70's i found myself 'in trouble' and was made to give my son up for adoption so I feel a certain empathy with these ladies who had the same treatment, |

A bit more recent.... my sister got pregnant at 15 (9 years ago), and had an abortion when she was 4 months gone. She's still with her boyfriend from back then. They married almost 4 years ago and have a baby son who is 1. I can't begin to imagine what it was like when abortion was illegal pre 1967, and yet to have the baby left you with such a stigma. It's strange. |
