I'm going to see it for real on the 22nd of Jan! Can't wait--I'm happy to be offended! People can always use the off-switch. I don't think everyone should blindly believe all that is said in the press. Friends of mine who have actually seen the show (rather than most of the people complaining) say it is about confronting extreme attitudes and behaviour in society--and that it is definitely not promoting these attitudes. I will let you know if I'm offended--but don't hold your breath! Going to see 'Lion King' tomorrow--I do do tame theatre shows too!

According to BBC Radio London, there are a number of people who will be outside TV centre showing their disgust bu burning their TV licences. The way I personally see it is, we all have choice and if you don't want to see it, change channel. However I can see the opinion that this can be seen as blasphemouse especially to the Christian religion and if the tables were to be turned and it was about another deity then it probably wouldn't make it to the TV screen. 'Screened' - is it coming on TV then ? I think it's still showing to packed audiences at the Cambridge Theatre in London (starring David Soul at present, I believe). It's been very popular ever since it opened for some reason ! Simon

Not my cup of tea, so I won't be watching. But apparently it said on Tv that they have already had 15,000 complaints about it and it hasn't even been screened yet !!

Are you offended? I saw this listed in the magazine last week and thought `that'll be good.` I'll be watching to see what it's like.
