Debbie I am pleased that they are home safely. it will certainly take a while before they can come to terms with the experience but hopefully counselling will help. i wish them the strength to cope. Ann Glos

Thank goodness they're home safely. Hopefully the counselling will help them come to terms with what happened to them but I'm sure they will never forget it and I bet it changes their life forever. All you and your sister can do is be around to listen and support them if and when they want to talk. Sarahx

When the disaster struck, my sister asked me to send her friend an email, of course I didnt get no reply so for a week we were all worried. Finally last week my sister plucked up the courage and rang her friends mum. Her friend and husband had just been found after a week and were coming home. And today I have just had an email and I cant stop crying, they gave a few details of what happened, they were snorkeling under water when it happened and spent 3 hours in the water, they spent the following week wandering searching for help and finaly they were found and had emergency flight home. They do not want to talk to anyone at the moment and are having counciling and medical treatment. Their lives will never be the same again. I have just rang my sister to let her know and we were both just sobbing. In the email she said that even though they have had a very traumatic time, think of all the others that have lost their lives families homes. And she said at least she could come home. I want to answer her but I just dont think I can find the right words. She is such a lovely bubbly outgoing person who loved travelling but now lets' just hope they get the right help. Sorry but I just had to tell someone this as I am still crying.
