its blowing out something wicked and my snowman is swinging around like mad lol there wont be much left tomorrow if this keeps up and we havnt got it as bad as up north. karen

How come you have still got a snowman.....mine melted the first day it snowed It is very windy here though and has been all day! I went out to work this afternoon when my umberella blew out of my hands and ended up under the wheels of the 204 bus.........

It's been pretty windy up here on the coast. Wheelie Bins are being upturned and sent down the road. Bet we are sending any snow down to you further south. I really miss the snow, that i have always been used to in the Midlands. 21 and 15 yrs olds are upset, that we do not get hardly any here much, due to the sea air. Say they are going to spend the winter down with their two elder sisters in the Midlands next winter. Jenny.x

Hiya Bob.A snowman is a snowman! Fancy calling something made out of plastic a snowman.......everyone knows snowmen are made out of snow!!! No wonder I get confused

Severe Weather Warning for the area I live in. 90 miles an hour gales are forecast so will have to watch out for structural damage and trees being blown down. Also we have a flood warning for the river Wharfe. So I will have to get the wellies out tomorrow to paddle across the river to the shops. Last time the river Wharfe flooded four guys got their horse and carts out to help people to get across the bridge. Sue
