Hi Claire My husband daughter son and grandsons plus some friends went to the Oldham match as they do most weeks, my husband was hoarse when he came back at teatime He said that there should have been 2 goals but one was disallowed . Kevin Keegan was nearly crying at the end of the match and blamed it on the weather Several CITY Fans left early in disgust at their teams performance Latics were beaten 6-1 when they played a friendly at the start of the season and City thought that todays match would be a walkover but it wasn't Some of them were so disgruntled that they wouldn't put money in the collection buckets for the disaster fund blaming the Latics for spoiling their chances in the F A Cup But it's the way the cookie crumbles in the cup matches that matters not how many million pounds you have paid for players Bren long suffering football widow
