hi not sure who saw my thread very early this am..my dad was taken in hosp with an abnormal heartrate(182)meant to be around 60-80.just to update you still quite high at 112,hes not responding to drugs at present.looks ok,he hates hospitals.all this just cause he's had a bug.will update you again tomorrow.thanks for all your support.cherie.x |

Did add to your thread to day that it sounded like my husband and it appears so from this thread - he will be OK - check my reply on your other thread. Mind you when I was told he was being discharged he still did not know what was wrong and it was not until I insisted on speaking to either his doctor or senior nurse I found all out and I received all the info I required - including drawings of the heart BUT I had to insist - politely of course. hi ann..yes did see your reply on the other thread(thankyou)told my mum about your hubby and it put her mind at rest a bit.im quite shy like my dad but with worry im quite assertive.i had to ask the nurses why they were taking blood yet again etc as he wouldnt.apparently he had some shaded areas on his lungs and heart..hes never smoked so i was quite worried but they said its prob fluid.they do want more xrays but its important they have his heart rate down first.cant fault the care hes getting though.cherie.x |
