Morning Emma - got anything you can bribe him with? eg big bar of chocolate if you let mummy have a lie-in? I really do know how you feel though - our son has ALWAYS got up at 6.30am, regardless of what time he went to bed, and he's still doing the same at 16 years old! But at least he doesn't expect us to get up and watch a video with him any more lol! Love Mandy :) xx

I know how you feel mine used to get up early, but now thay are older they lie in until tea time if I let them, but just now count your blessings, my niece has been living in the hospital this last week with her youngest one he was 2 months prem, and he is only 6 months old now, he cant breath with out the help of oxygen and last night he had to have tubes inserted down his throat to feed him, as he can't feed him self, poor little mit is very poorly, so while they are getting you up early at least you know they are ok, and yes do send them for a nap on the afternoon and grab a nap youe self. About 6am, he was trying to throw him self over the side of his cot! He shouts at me "time time time"! Bless him. I know i should make the most of it while he is little and i dont mean it really! Just felt like moaning and stropping this morning!

Speedy, i hope your nieces baby will be ok. My 3rd baby was 2 months prem, and was in special care with tubes and alarms going off. Its very scary and tiring.

My children were never "early risers" thank goodness as I too am not a morning person. But you still don't win. Husband works shifts so always get disturbed early one way or the other. This morning the poxy dog next door was barking solidly for over an hour. It does it all the time and does my head in totally out of control, then she clears off out leaving it howling.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE. MY FRIEND HAD THAT PROBLEM, HER NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR USED TO GO TO WORK AND LEAVE HER DOG IN GARDEN ALL DAY. SHE HAD TO PHONE COUNCIL AND THEY TOLD HER OFF. THE WOMAN GAVE THE DOG AWAY. KEEP SOME BONEO IN YOUR BEDROOM AND THROW THEM AT THE DOG!!
