Cheers Paul and Grandpa! lol Strump and Lynda Yes I do see now that you could have made arragements etc. I know I don't always look at the dates. I suppose that was a bit of a bad example. What I was thinking was that somebody always starts a thread off about the phantom nudger if they have been on (I'm guilty now! lol). Surely this is just another case of 'feeding the trolls'. Yes that's it Paul exactly! Donna it would have been terrible all you people meeting up at the wrong date. But at least that nudge has helped in the long run, some people failed before to look at dates of original threads, well at least the peeps on that thread will check dates in the future. Pat x

it has the potential to cuase trouble with us making plans that wouldn't work becuase the dates were wrong. fair enough maybe we should've checked the dates, but who honestly ever thinks of checking the dates??

OK You're daft lol Seriously, I thinj the problem is, that because threads HAVE been nudged up in the past to incite arguements, there's suspicion when anything at all is nudged. Sometimes its unfounded, sometimes not. Also, I know there are a couple of people who tend to nudge their own threads (three or four at a time) to the top every now and then, pushing others off page one in the process. Not a big deal, just a little irritating.

i DON'T THINK THEY REALLY DO,IT IS A BIT OF A LAUGH with some of us as we find threads have been nudged up over night. We just wonder who does it,but it is only curiosity-Rose Sometimes threads are nudged up for good reason. There is a group of us who are coping with relatives with forms of autism.I have nudged that up twice as it is good to talk and share the load.

.........why does everyone get so het up over threads being nudged up? Ok I can see people getting annoyed if it was an inflammatory thread as nobody wants to start an argument all over again (and anyway any decent person would remove their thread if it had caused bad feeling). But this thread of Kevins that has been nudged isn't argumentative. Jeanette x
