Diana You must be in the pink! It's a great feeling. I remember whooping with delight when Emma in Yorkshire found my Matthews family on 1871 census mistranscribed as Marthers and living at no. 12 when their address on all the bmd certs was 13. As a bonus, Mrs Matthews' younger sister was there, mistranscribed Thorne when her name was Moore! nell

Glitter, fortunately no-one below me... but even if there was I'd still have done me dance... 14 months I've been looking for Grandad on a census and it's all down to an N being written instead of a R!! :O)

thanks to a lovely lady called Debra on the tips board, I now know where Gt Grandad lived and was born.... she did a search for me and the surname had been transcribed wrong... I am certain it's him as my Grandad is mentioned on it too.... I was dancing round the flat with excitement! :O) And there is only one of his name born at the right time in the right place... YEAY... Thanks Debra I O U one! And it looks like I may have found living rellies of Gt Grandma too.... it's great having unusual names in your tree!! :O)
