Nichola LOL Oh dear, sorry just seems ridiculous. I know there is missing ones but thought they were 1800's not 1900's. So you will have to check at your local register office. Good Luck

I have just done a search on 1837 for my brother that died when he was a baby and couldn't find his birth or death. So I did another search for myself and what do you know, it's as if I don't exist cause my name isn't on there either lol. I thought that all the indexes were complete on there. I know the records are there because I have not long ago ordered a birth certificate from the place of where I was born.
