Just surfaced after a brill night out. Best iv'e had all over the holiday period due to being ill. Friends of ours have just sold up £350,000 house, and bought a massive villa in Turkey. (Not my cup of tea, I must admit) But each to their own. We had a leaving party for them last night at our local pub. I will never be able to go into the pub again. Got up for the very first time in my life and sang with my friend. Helen Shapiro's Walking Back to Happiness. LMAO. Then me and hubby got up and did Beautiful South's, Perfect Ten. I'm tall and slim, hubby is rather big. LOL. We did another song after that , but for the life of me I just cannot remember what it was. They say life begins at 40. Mine is now taking off, now i have just gone 50. Move over Kylie!!!!!! LOL

My memory is returning. Chap who is leaving is Scottish. Mel Gibson lookalike. He always wears a Kilt on special occasions. Full works right down to the socks and shoes. Just remembered, I put my hand up the BACK of it last night. I am never gonna live this down. Beam me up Scottie. A very red faced Jenny.

June. Absolutley nothing. I already knew this, but just could not resist the inpulse. He is a fantastic character, and he knows it. Imagine Mel Gibson in Braveheart, This chap has the same body, long black hair and a little bit of Billy Connoly's wit, and you have our friend to a tee. They had a big garden party a couple of years ago. Cowboys and Indians were the theme. He went as Clint Eastwood. He purposely groomed a little tash and beard. He was absolutley fantastic. He has lived in Newcastle for many a year now. A geordie accent and is a great singer. He sings Wonderful Tonight. Eric Clapton. But the Geordie version. You have to hear it to believe it. Ex Royal Marine and then a Fireman for many a year. Yes you've guessed it. I think he is wonderful. But dont tell my hubby. Jenny.xx
