Just to update everybody. I haven't seen so many people at a Funeral since Diana's. There were well over 200 people at the Crematorium. Many more turned up this afternoon at the Reception. It was so good to see many of the young men, my son included, paying their respects to a man who had been their friend. A Senior Police Officer gave a eulogy, as did his Brother, while his Brother-in-Law led the service. I got the opportunity to tell his Mother that it had been a privilege to work alongside him in the Community. Rest in Peace Graham... You deserve it. |

This is a really frightful story. That poor, poor man.My son said, just a few months ago 'there is no room in todays world for people like dad!' When he was a little boy my husband took him every where and played cowboys and indians, dragons, anything he wanted to play. All the mothers in the street were delighted to get a bit of peace, when my hubby went up the street followed by half the kids in the neighbourhood. Hes afraid to talk to a kid in the street now. what a world . That poor man! Deanna |

God bless Graham. He will live on in the boys he helped because he has changed their lives. It is a great pity for humanity that there are not more people who are committed to helping the community raise its young. Why do I feel that there is too much prurient interest in sex - seeing it when it is not there even? Thinking of his mother and his friends. Abigail |

I agree with Abigail - well said! I must be getting old, because I've thought this sort of thing for many years. Some people have nothing else to think about perhaps ........ |
