I have won loads of t-shirts, mugs, bags and cd's, also held a tyre above my head for tickets to the British GP, with our local radio station, but as we had been the 3 previous years running and there were only 2 of us left, I dropped mine, my good deed! Won a real good 'un on Capital Radion but never won a 'Biggy' has anyone done that? Kim |

Used to do lots of comps years ago, won lots of small prizes, but nothing big. In more recent years I have won a £200 premium bond (which has won itself £50 since) and a few M&S gift tokens. Val |

Won a DNA Test to trace my maternal line back to Spain 17,000 years ago. So that's something I can say when I'm stuck in a lift or something. More recently won £100 off the Sun newspaper (Erm, no no, I mean The Times of course) for spoting two lookalike celebs. Still waiting for that to come through. |

I must have gone for hundreds of competions. Never won a thing. I hav'nt done one for a couple of years as I began to think they were all fixed. I'm usually lucky with raffle tickets and have won jigsaw puzzles, cake stands, things like that. Nothing big. Jo. |

We had our one and only win about 4 years ago when the History Channel ran a series on Egypt. You had to answer multiple choice questions in an online quiz about Egypt. We came back from one holiday to an e-mail from Sky T.V. telling us we'd won a 7 night Nile cruise and 3 night stay in Cairo. It was a marvellous experience and I would recommend anybody to go. Kind regards Ron www(.)genealogyprinters(.)com |

I've won a few crossword prizes....nothing more than 20 quid, a Wet Wet Wet album, but the best one was VIP tickets to the Scottish Cup Final between Rangers and Aberdeen. Brilliant day, travelled through to the match with guest football players, had lunch with players, then watched the match. Afterwards we were whisked off to a hotel for a night of free food and booze again with the players. Great day! Christine x |

Yes! When I was a stay-at-home mum, I won a Little Tikes first bike and a Crazy Coupe car which both boys enjoyed. I also won a bottle of champagne in a competition in the Independent on Sunday to come up with a new slogan for the Labour Party - it was when they were ditching Clause 4. I said "Fair dos" which is what another woman said so we both got a bottle of bubbly - just in time for Mother's Day. But my favourite prize was winning 52 - one a week - Virago paperbacks. The comp was in a magazine and I wish I'd kept my entry. I can only remember that we had to answer a few questions about Virago and then come up with a favourite author and why in 25 words or less. I chose Jane Austen. The Viragos were all read and enjoyed! Very recently, I've won a trailer holiday in Nuits St Georges in my son's school raffle this Xmas. |
