boo hoo i have bad tooth ache but most pills make me sick any idea,s and my mouth is swollen xxx im scared of the dentist so wont go xxx

I think your going to have to Val if your face is swollen you probably have an abcsess you need antibiotics Love Helenxx

hi val try oil of cloves on some cotton wool put against tooth BUT only a temp measure - get to the Dentist Liz

but i am really scared of the dentist so much that im sick inside at the thought of it xx

Hi Val Go to the dentist! If it is an abcess then it will get worse and worse, eventually you might lose the tooth. Clove oil can cause receeding gums by the way. Try using childrens teething gel - that can help a bit. You poor thing, I know how painful it is. You could trying phoning NHS 24 for advice. Lynne

so i may not get it out then but the pain will go that is all that matters i always get thrush with antibiotics oh bloomin heck xxx

Good luck this afternoon Val, you're as bad as my husband, he ended up with a virol infection and was really ill a few months ago, and before that he got drunk and pulled a tooth out himself how bad is that!!

hello just this moment come on im sore very sore and my chin is now swollen but it should ease by tomorrow then they will see to it thanx for all your help ladies and for thinking about me the dentis new i was scared so didnt sit me in the chair just say next to him so was happy with that ill let you no how i go on and thanx xxxxxxx

woke up this morning and face swollen like tennis ball carnt open mouth to talk very well but no pain just feel sick thanx girls xxx catch up later xx

Hope you feel better Val Keep on with the antibiotics and painkillers, and maybe ask doctor for something stronger if you need them. Antibiotics may make you feel sick, check to see if they have to be taken before or after food, ie; on an empty tummy. (Connie was on penicillin, and it had to be taken 4 times a day, an hour before food on an empty tum...ggrrr....grrrrrrr...and more ggrrrrr! ) maybe try a covered hot water bottle up against your face, it may ease the pain.
