I would really like an answer to this one! Typical, out doing the dreaded food shopping when I see a till will a few people in the queue, I rush over to get in that queue because its not as long as the one I'd previously been standing in then bugger me the person in front has a problem, i.e. forgot her pin and her card won't go through, broken item in her shopping, a supervisor has to be called etc etc. I realised I should of stayed where I was, why does this happen? Sorry all have gone into moan mode, having a really bad day!!

It,s Called "Sods Law" and its around everywhere, don,t worry, you,re not alone,I often wonder Why it is that people never seem to realise that you have to pay for the things at the checkout and wait untill everything is packed before finding their purse/credit card etc. thus making everyone else wait their convenience. Hal.

And to make matters worse the queue I was originally in has gone down and served about 20 customers while I'm still stood in my queue like a lemon.

While on the subject of supermarkets what about the cashiers who send your shopping into orbit when their putting it through the till!

I have found that 10 items or less or baskets only take a lot longer as its the paying that takes the time, so sometimes its quicker to get behind one person with a big load that 10 or more with small baskets brenda
