That is interesting Joy, my paternal Gt grandparents are buried at St Anne's cemetery, but I already have a photo taken by a second cousin for me. Mind you his grave was really broken and in a bit of a state which was sad. Ann Glos

The staff may do it for you. I had one kindly taken for me at Ann's Hill Cemetery. I only wrote to ask about the grave, and someone offered a photo! Joy

hi Crista, no it is not a war grave. Jim. thanks for the offer but it looks as if Karen is closer. Karen The grave is on plot Z2 row 13 grave 3. There is apparently a memorial and buried there are my Grandparents Richard Frederick Bate 1866-1948, his wife Ada Ann Bate 1869 -1945 and their daughter Ethel Emily Bate aged 68 1895 -1963 If you can I would love a photograph. Failing that could you please transcribe the memorial for me. I can almost visualise it as when i was five years old (nearly 60 years ago,) I visited the grave when my Grandmother died, then again when I was seven when my grandfather died. strangely i didn't go to my Aunts funeral and didn't know she was in the same grave until i heard from portsmouth cemeteries today. I would be very grateful Karen, thank you. And thanks to those of you who have shown interest too. Ann Glos

If I was back in Hampshire, I would have willingly done this Ann. I hope someone along there on the coast can help you.
