I know I am a worrier but i cannot help it. My hubby always rings me when he is ready to leave work. If he is going to be late he rings me. He has not done either and is now around an hour late. He has an hours drive back home and I know he will come home and say, the traffic was bad or there was a pile up. But I still worry myself sick. I dont want to ring him on his mobile cause I know he will not answer it because he is driving. Jennyx

Hard, but try not to worry Jenny :O) Maybe his fone battery went flat?? Keep busy so you dont think about it - men are like cats they just disappear or stay out for hours causing no end of worry - then just wander in and wonder what all the fuss is about........... He'll be home soon :O) Anne in Kent

Jenny, You sound just like me, honey. I'm sure he is fine but that won't make a difference to your anxiety. I'm even worse with my children so I do understand how you feel. It's awful having to live with the worry, I even know its irrational but still can't help it. x

My hubby phoned 5 mins ago. He had to go into an emergency meeting and left at 7.15pm. Should be back at 8pm. But the roads are icy and his windscreen needed de-icing. Thanks for your replies, will let you know when he gets home. Think I'll leave the rest of the Tia Maria till he gets home. Jennyxx

Glad that you have heard from your hubby Jenny. My better half does that to me all the time. Even worse, my 20 year old son who has just bought his first car, has started doing it too! Maggy
