Would I!?!?! It would be like telling on myself really..... I've had to get up and stretch the old legs (turned off the telly) and am now counting down the last 20 mins online. Work for me tomorrow, so can't stay up too late. Cripes.....Emma just gave me a blooming fright. She screamed out for me and I've gone flying into her room to rescue her from piece of fluff which she thought was a spider!!! Well, that's got the old circulation going again.

Still here Michelle, not gone to bed yet. In fact I can stay here all night if I like, hubby is on nights and son is staying at his girlfriends! No-one will no, unless you tell them..... Maggy

Not sure if everyone's gone to bed now... but found a way round Eastenders...... if I sit at arms length from the PC I can just about stretch my neck to see the telly and I figured that stretching was good exercise..... only trouble is, hubby's home in half an hour and he's gonna think I've been sat here all night and as I said before....I went downstairs for a glass of wine!, so he'd be wrong!

Oh no..... dilema. Missed Eastenders earlier having been deeply engrossed in sifting through 1871 census records - now it's about to start on replay...... what to do.

Solution.....slap on a pair of 1000 denier stockings, plug the computer in next to the bed and install some voice recognition software......what do you say? Oh...and lest we forget - red wine is good for the heart!!

I must admit. I thought I was one of those SAD persons that had nothing better to do than spend time on here. I have developed a tiny hard lump on my right index finger. I put it down to my mouse. But on the subject of DVT why do we not have to worry when we are asleep in bed hopefully for eight hours per night? jenny

Mandy - what you need is a sweat band! I've got a shiny 'heel' of my palm..... take a look at yours

OMG Marion.....I remember those stockings well......first pair were like two milk bottles - second time round I got "American Tan" Perhaps I should venture into the other room and prise the kids off the other PC - but then I would have to explain why I'm still on this one - what to do!?!?!

You know that advert for the Ford Ka where there's a bum mark in the wall........well my chair looks like that. I'm also going to use the excuse that my hubby's at work and the kids are 'otherwise engaged' ..... in other words they're on t'other puter (I drop my head in shame!). I wonder if my leg muscles are wasting away..... I think my eyesight is fading.....wonder if that's the wine - better cork it!

About as sad as I am because I'm still here too! My excuse is that my hubby is on nights, son has gone out and daughter has just gone back to uni and I'm bored! How many more excuses do I need? Maggy

It's not good is it! I did venture downstairs (at record pace I might add) for a glass of vino. Most frustrated to find that I had to open a new bottle which wasted a good 20 seconds.... it's sounding worse by the minute... sat drinking whilst my butt spreads out over the edge of the chair (well almost!), addictively switching between this site, ancestry, LDS, FreeBMD and checking emails inbetween - am I sad or what?

I must admit Michelle, the thought of DVT through sitting at the computer for hours has crossed my mind too! I seem to spend as many hours on here some days as I spend at work. I did watch Eastenders thought, well sort of, the telly is behind me! Maggy

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a possibility of getting a DVT from sitting here hours on end....unable to part with the puter just in case, by magic, my ancestors appear online!! I'm sure my fingers weren't this swollen 2 hours ago...lol Can't believe I've missed Eastenders too
