I'm just a bit wary as I know I'd forget to cancel the subscription if I didn't want it. lol And I have to convince my mum to hand over the credit card, which is the hard part! |

unfortuately no certificates etc. you get access to the england& wales censuses from 1871-1901 which i find invaluable. Also BMD searches of index. I think its money well spent and I get to offer help to other people on this site! Sarah x |

And is it really worth it? I'm new to this whole thing and considering a subscription to .co.uk but wondering if it's really worth it and if not, where else I could find the same information. It says you get "Records from England, Wales, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands as well as a selection of records from Ireland and Scotland." What exactly are these records? When it says you get civil registration records, what exactly are these? Birth certs. etc? |
