Help. I'm on the PTA of my sons' school and we're in the process of organising the May Fayre. For the last few years we've had a theme, e.g. last year was Animals and for one of our main attractions the local children's zoo brought along some animals for the children to look at. The year before we had a Circus theme and had a juggler walking round all afternoon. This year we want to have something really different but are stuck for ideas which is where you all come in!!! Does anyone have any ideas of what we could have as a main event/attraction/theme???? The cheaper the better as obviously our main objective is to raise money for the school. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance SUE |

Hi Eagles, Just thinking, how about a `Throwing Wet Sponges`at teachers theme. 20p a throw, ( kids only ) and warm water of course. The teacher will be locked in a `stocks` Baz. |

Maybe you could have a victorian theme? You could do some research on old victorian attractions and maybe you could try and get hold of some costumes that the kids could try on? Sorry for the history theme (I'm not obsessed by it, honestly) but I can't think of anything else. I |

When my husband was Chair of the PTA at our son's school, they had a 'Princes and Princesses' theme one year. My 6ft tall, 18 stone husband was dressed as a Princess .. yep, frilly frock, cape, crown, makeup, the full works. And I have the photos to prove it. But they made loads of money. Mandy :) |
