Hi Theresa, The castle was a great movie - what was the catch phrase - "tell them they're dreaming!" Loved it.

Another comedy with Michael Caton together with Paul Hoga is "Strange Bed Fellows" they pretend to be a homosexual couple to get tax concessions. Has its moments. The Dish, about the first moon landing and the use of the Australian radio telescope. Great soundtrack. Happy viewing Keith

The Castle - you know the saying everyman's home is his castle. It was a very funny movie about this family holding on to their home which anybody else would think you would want to get rid of. The son would say so and so had something for sale and the father would say - "how much do they want for it" the son would answer and the father would say "tell them they're dreaming" Yes She, love "Whale rider" got given the book for Xmas too. It's very tear-jerky but also very real and love the fact that the girl is the hero it is also based on an area where some of my husband's ancestors come from.

Hi thanks for your answers, i popped out for a couple of hours to go to Springvale crematorium chasing some rellies, i wondered what English people would make of "The Castle" as the humour is so different to English humour. Hi She, we will have to make you an honourary Aussie, you could name more movies of f the top of your head than i could. Regards Theresa

G'day Theresa and everyone. Has anyone seen the movie " Kangaroo Jack" ( 2003 ) If you need a good laugh, and have a sense of humour then its for you. The other one i liked was "There a weird mob" ( 1966 ) Tony Oz.
