I had an aunt called Francis and she was known as Nancy. Have also known it as the pet name for Ann.

It can be just Nancy but I know someone who is known as Nancy but her real name is Louise!

I had an Aunt name Anne but was always called Nancy also my hubbys stepmother was an Anne but was called Nancy perhaps its just where I come from dont know Linda
