Hi I've just started to look into my family history and so far have managed to find websites to acces 1901, 1891 and 1881 census. I've had a quick look at some of the messages here and it seems that there is a way of accessing 1871 census. Could anyone please help me with the web address (or addresses) of sites where I can do this. Thanks in anticipation! Diane |

Hi Diane. Ancestry reckon their coverage of the 1871 is now complete, but you cannot view it free. Have a look at ancestry(.)co(.)uk for subscription options. Don't forget to remove the brackets first! Maz. XX |

Hi Carol Just this minute read your post. I zoomed off and registered for ancestry site as soon as I read Maz's message, but thanks very much for the kind offer anyway. |
