From my Guinness Book of Names the top 10 boys names for England and Wales in 1925 were: John William George James Ronald Robert Kenneth Frederick Thomas Albert The book gives the top 50 boys and girls names for the years 1700, 1800, 1850, 1875, 1900, 1925, 1950, 1965, 1975 and 1981 if anyone's interested just let me know. My Dad was born in 1921 and was Edward Roy. His brother, born the following year is Donald Leslie. My husband has uncles born in 1919, 1920 and 1922 called Leslie, George and Ronald. Sue xx |
