I can never decide which to get so I end up getting them all every month!! Might get round to reading them all one day. I just tend to read the articles I'm really interested in first and then put them to one side. I've also got a pile of the free CDs as well that I haven't tried out.

I buy two on a monthly basis - [Your ?] Family Tree, and Ancestors. I get both from my local WH Smith's (or "uncle Bill" to me lol), noone else seems to sell Ancestors, although larger Tesco's sell YFT

I buy Family Tree Magazine and Practical Family History. both are monthly and I have found some good tips/websites and just general information in both. W. H. Smiths stocks both in my area, so should do in your area. Regrads Liz

We have the Greenwood Tree LOCALLY-Which is nice as it concentrates on local families and the research local people have done.It is full of info about our RO and courses and Fam Hist Groups. The other Mags are available st the library too. -Rose

Sorry Natalie, only just got back on here. As said above WHSmiths is the best place to go. There are five I buy regularly which I think have already been mentioned - Practical Family History, Family History Monthly, Your Family Tree, Family Tree Magazine and also one called Ancestors. I really must get round to subscribing to at least one or two of them as it works out cheaper in the long run.
