Hi, the cough medicene my family use is called simple linctus Works every time and its less than £2 a bottle

hi anne, its quite common for a cold,to clear up,only to leave you with a horrible cough...go to a pharmacist,not one of the asistants,explain your symptoms to him/her,and they will give you a bottle of mixture,that will clear your cough in 7/10 days,if it does'nt,go to your gp,and "read them the riot act" bryan.

I developed a chesty cough on 1st December - just one month after having a cold. I am STILL being plagued by a dry tickle-ish throat/cough - Spoke to GP about it 2 weeks ago during an appointment but offered no solution :O( Do I hold a record?? Anne in Kent

its that time of the year,when we all need to increase the amount of vitamin C intake....also a good idea to take omega 3,found in tins of oily fish,such as mackerel etc. bryan.

Beware of lockets - about 4 years ago on a dental checkup - suddenly needed 3 fillings - very unusual - dentist asked had I had a cold or was I suddenly eating sweets. I said a cold and he asked if I had been using Lockets. Never bought them since. Ann

have put up with cough for 2 weeks, now thats eased im left with a ache in one side of my throat, and stomach pains from all cough medicine and throat sweets (lockets)
