1881 i have got a infant born and it says a boy but in 1901 the only person that matches is a girl could they have been wrong or do you think the baby could have died? |

Its possible, I suppose, that the sexual organs were not clearly defined......so they guessed.........one condition, is called "Hypospadias" but that usually works in the opposite manner. |

They could have written it down wrong - on either censuses. I found a couple of daughters who were down as 'ditto' sons, and vise-versa. |

Is this on the census Louise? I have a Paul in 1881 who becomes Polly in 1891, I think it is the accent in Dudley..........Poll/Paul! Heather |

1881 census it says infant walker son male 3d buslem,stafford,england....................... but 1901 census i have the family mother father a grandson and this daughter aged 19 |
