If you have had a look at the list of hopefuls for this Celebrity Wrestling thing that's supposed to be appearing sometime, I had problems recognising most of the names. Since when did Jade Goody's ex (one of the hopefuls) become a celebrity? Are you a celebrity these days, merely by brief association?

ann, i saw that show a few weeks back,on my day off....there was a doctor discussing gesticular cancer..fair enough..we say,but then in came a man,sat down, completely naked, and the doc, showed in close-up,just how men should check themselves, leaving nothing to the imagination. as you said, many a young girl would be off school watching, yes, its an important subject...but that time of the day? bryan.

Don't really watch tv during day - but today I took my coffee into lounge and switched on - This Morning and there was Philip and Fern and apparently the topic for this week - on daily - is sex. Today we had reached fantasy/orgasims and how to reach them. Philip looked uncomfortable - I only watched for about 5 minutes. Is this type of discussion with a so-called expert really necessary especially at this time of the day? Children can be home sick and watching tv and this comes up.

I agree with you there Grandpa Jim....that ghastly Lizzie person from Wife Swap!!! Whats that all about...she has raked in a fortune being the type of person we dont want out kids to be! She has the dirtiest mouth that I have ever heard... Made me laugh when she openly admitted to raking in thousands of money in benefits while her hubby was out working full time!!

There will always be someone who pushes the limits. I think they call it progress. I just wish I could have a decent evening's entertainment without having to swop channels every half hour to miss some totally pointless programme with all the entertainment of drying paint. Generally about someone who is famous for no other reason than that they continually push themselves into the limelight, have very little talent, no morals, and earn more a year than I have earned in 50 years of working. I just want to be entertained, give me a laugh before I go to bed. Wake up programme controllers the guillotine isn't far away!

No, how could all the top civil service and courtier system countenance a situation where the heirs (or monarchs) of the British (Protestant) throne would have muslim half siblings? It could have been a situation that homogenised things to a point of stability but on the other hand they probably would not consider that a possiblity. Abigail

Actually I agree with the first part of Louises last post. Diana is dead. Time we let the poor woman rest in peace and stop raking over her death (and her life)

Len of the Chilterns Report 20 Jan 2005 22:51

I am not concerned about what other people watch. I am certainly not interested in romance or sex except on a very personal level - and not via a TV. I was very interested in BBC's Horizon programme and TFN's Antique Ghosts. Anyone watch the latter? Len

Personally I do, but saying that, it isnt just the tv stations that are pushing things too far! Only an hour ago I was browsing through the internet looking for connections to the "Ashton" family name. I clicked on a very innocent looking site only to have pornographic material thrown up! Took me ages to get rid of it completely as each time I closed the site down another one would open!! I am an adult and can handle stuff like this but supposing my son was on the computor at the time!! Bev

Debbie, I saw the trailers for that and it's called Ban this Filth I think, i'ts mocking the Mary Whitehouse types. I have to say that "11ish or 12ish" is pretty late when it comes to TV - the watershed for showing more adult themes as 9pm I believe. As for whether they cross the line... well I'm not easily offended by such things, but I know lots are... but everyone has at least 4 channels to choose from - if you don't like what they show, turn it over, or turn it off.

Debbie

Debbie Report 20 Jan 2005 22:41

Well, I was disgusted one night, turned over to Channel 4 and it wasnt really that late about 11ish of 12ish. And there was these 3 older ladies trying to tell people not to watch porn, and they were watching all these videos of people doing it all different ways. And I dont know if the older ladies were real or it was just a fun programme. I had to watch just to see if it was real. I think it is on weekly but I dont think it should be on channel 4 sky the late night channels yes.
