This is what I have found in the Sun. I started working in this factory when I left school, it is down the road from me, wish I was still there, I know nearly all of the workers that have won Sue............. £14m winners work on A SYNDICATE of 24 factory workers landed Wednesday’s £14MILLION Lotto jackpot — and went straight back to work. Staff at school sportswear firm Gymphlex found out they had scooped the fortune when they clocked in. They celebrated on the shopfloor — then slogged away to complete a vital order for Japan at the HQ in Horncastle, Lincs. But the 24 ARE expected to quit after each landing a £601,936 share of the £14,446,469 win, with numbers 14, 24, 28, 33, 34 and 47. Gymphlex’s workforce won a Sun award of £5,000 in 1987 as Britain’s greatest grafters when they worked to replace an order destroyed in a flood. One boss said yesterday: “We’ve always known we’ve got a great team here — but I can’t believe they went back to work. “The place went mad when they found out they had won, but then it was business as usual.” |
