does it really matter what format the date is in we are all adults are we not , we can read the date in both formats english or american. Its not exactly life threatening is it ( OMG the date is American I gonna die ) get real . Like Paul says its not only the English that use the site so who cares how the date is. Paul

Dont forget the site has had a few problems due to the colour change fiasco the other day. As long as it doesnt interfere with your research then It dont hurt. The words Mountain and Molehill spring to mind...... E x

As usual we (not in the US) will probably be pressurised to change to their system of day first, month second. eg 9/11, September 11th, which has found its way into our language. Next we'll be told to drive on the right and get new cars!! So much in life is now Americanised, we should protect every little bit of our national identity while we still have it! Maz. XX

oh for heavens sake, lets get some perspective here. For a start, not eveyone that uses this site is English, there are lots in Australia, Canada etc etc

With all the "chat" that went on this morning why I we using the american date system. WE ARE ENGLISH AND WOULD EXPECT TO BE TREATED AS SUCH IN EVERY RESPECT For two pins I shall complain to the Race Relations Board. Rupert
