I have recently been given our family bible which is 200yrs old. Unfortunately the cover is falling apart and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can take it to be repaired! Thanks Bev

I work for a company that does bookbinding. Unfortunately they don't usually do it for individuals, they do it for libraries, government offices, hospitals etc. For someone who lives near our factory, they may do it as a 'one off'. Universities often have a bindery on site, for binding dissertations and thesis (apologies if I've spelt these wrong!!). Otherwise, if you ask at your local library, they may be prepared to send it in with their own books next time they have some rebound otherwise they may know someone who will rebind it for you. Sam

We have just such a shop in town. It's the chap who also runs a used book shop. If you have a shop that sells good quality second hand books, maybe they can help or advise.
