Daniel, Back home Lychees grow on a bush and we used to crack the shell with our teeth and suck the juice before eating the flesh. "Manna from heaven" Over here we have to content ouselves with the tinned stuff. P.S. It is hubby's birthday, hence the exotic meal and I am feeling real stuffed, Yuuk! :-((

We have a late cooked breakfast on Sundays (kippers today), a quick snack (biscuits or cake & fruit) in the afternoon, depending of what we're doing (usually DIY or gardening), then dinner 7-8 p m. Roast pork tonight + apple sauce, sage & onion stuffing & crackling, sprouts, roast parsnips and potatoes, with home-made lemon meringue pie to follow. What time shall we expect you, Dan? LoL CB >|< P S If you see 'Nancy', give her my regards!
