Looking good - thanks everyone. Jess's one is definately THE one. Do you think that there may be more words, and that Harold's might be amongst them?

Hush my baby My curly-headed baby Your Daddy's in the cotton fields working 'neath the moon So lu-la, lu-la, lu-la, lu-la, bye bye Do you want the moon the play with? Or the stars to run away with? They'll come if you don't cry. Lu-la, lu-la, lu-la, lu-la bye bye In your Mammy's arms you're sleeping And soon you'll be a-dreaming, lu-la Lu-la, lu-la, lu-la lu-la bye

Do you want the moon to play with And the stars to run away with? They'll come if you don't cry. So, lulla-lulla-lulla-lulla-bye-bye . . .

Sorry ladies not that one, that is a country and western number. The one I want has the chorus, 'Lulla, lulla, lulla, lulla bye bye ...' etc. and is a lullaby. Thanks for trying though. Christina

She's my curly headed baby Used to sit on Mommas knee She's my curly headed baby She's from sunny Tennessee I have loved her since I met her More than an tongue can tell If she ever proves false hearted I can never say farewell I am funny about the women For I'll tell you what they'll do They'll be crying over your shoulder And flirtin with another too She's my curly headed baby I don't care what people say If she leaves me for another That well be her burying day I'd rather be in some dark hollow Where the sun don't never shine Than of her to be some others darlin When she promised ot be mine

... the lyrics (or where to find them) for 'My Curly Headed Baby'? I have looked on various sites and none of them have come up with them. Many thanks to Shirley Morris for identifying the song title. Christina
