Well I finshed it and the dish is left with what can only be described as yellow offal. Won't be having it again. I'll stick with the safe apple pie next week.

Who needs a pie dish just use a casserole dish it's deeper so you get more filling

Well this came in a ready made pie that was put in the oven. I would have thought there must be some in it then somewhere. Dan (Qualified GCSE Food)

that's caster sugar not the sugar you put in your tea.

June

June Report 23 Jan 2005 17:17

oh yes you need sugar in rhubarb about 2 tablespoons when cooking it

Daniel

Daniel Report 23 Jan 2005 17:16

Not enough? I don't think there's any! Should there be?

Daniel

Daniel Report 23 Jan 2005 17:14

No just the whole thing. I'm slowly working my way through it but making sure to take about 3 custards to every 1 rhubarb to suppress the taste.

June

June Report 23 Jan 2005 17:12

what smells wrong, did you try the custard and ice cream?

June

June Report 23 Jan 2005 17:11

Andy; not too sure about that one but will give it a try and get back to you.

Daniel

Daniel Report 23 Jan 2005 17:09

This is sick. It smells just, I don't know, wrong. Bring on the Cherry Pie!

Andy

Andy Report 23 Jan 2005 17:07

I'd eat anything so don't ask me! But custard is nice with a dollop of cream in it as well!

June

June Report 23 Jan 2005 17:04

Unknown Report 23 Jan 2005 17:01

Dan I'd have a bit of both, but tell your kitchen staff I'd prefer crumble to pie. Thank you. Mandy :)
