MIGRANE'S

Hi Gerri - I'm not totally sure about this but I think that the yellow migralieve have exactly the same stuff in them as paracetamol and codiene tables - but 'unbranded' paracetamol and coidene are an awful lot cheaper. I know the pink ones definitely have an anti-sickness thing added as well though. Another thing that can set my migraines off (apart from dehydration, not eating regularly enough and stress) is spending too much time in front of the computer without a break. (Easily done when you get involved in something!) Painkillers, a dark quiet room and sleep is the only way to make mine better. Diane

Have you tried Tiger Balm on your temples?

Chocolate/oranges and flickering lights start mine off..... I always have Migralieve with me....yellow ones. Mine always start with the 'blind spot' swallow two yellow Migralieve and cross fingers.

My friend finds that washing her hair is very soothing and helps - yet I can't bear anything to touch my head or face, so no icepacks, flannels etc :( Is anyone else starving once the migraine wears off? I can be feeling really awful, then end up sending hubby down the chippy! Mandy :)

Anne - I have suffered with migraines for may years, and I know this might seem crazy, but try rubbing Vick into your temple, it really does help ease the pain. - Linda..

I would let your doctor know that you're having more than usual. I have Maxalt for the migraine symptoms and Solpadol painkillers - both prescription only. Mandy :)
