I do understand what you're saying, but sometimes you just can't watch the dying minutes of an auction - if they're ending in the middle of the night etc. This one I spotted whilst I was at work in the early hours of Sunday morning, ending last night, so I just stuck a bid on. Better luck next time eh ? NB I've been Ebaying for a few years now, so I know the game - its just annoying ! |

Thats what I did the other day, i watched a item for a couple of days, didnt bid on it, and then waited till there was 20 seconds to go, and won it. You have got to be sly on ebay, but it's good fun. |

On the last few minutes of ebay you need to stay there and keep refreshing the page as much as possible. You should watch the item instead of bidding early then other people know you are interested. Naomi x |

How annoying !! logged in to check an auction on Ebay. Buying a microfiche reader. With 5 minutes left I was the high bidder, the item hadn't had any bids since I placed mine last night. Logged in here for a few mins, went back to Ebay amd some GIT had outbid me in the last minute. aaaarrgggghhhhh !!!!! |
