Brilliant, Shirley, my wretched brick wall and his brother and sister were all supposed to have been born in the Chatham/ Rochester area but don't seem to have births registered so I may be along to check them out. Thanks for the information.

I have just returned from the Medway City Archives in Strood and noticed that the Kent Family History Society are holding an open day there on Saturday 30 th April betwen 10.00am - 4.00pm. Should be interesting. Shirley
