My daughter has been a vegetarian since she was 4 and my s-i-l and b-i-l are both vegans. They don't eat anything that came from or was produced by an animal. It is hard feeding them when they come...even a lot of biscuits that they won't eat! Tonight being Burns night is ok though as there are loads of vegetarian haggis' on the market now. LOL Have to say though my s-i-l isn't a picture of fitness, she's quite overweight, so a vegan diet doesn't always ensure you'll be thin! Christine

They eat anything, apart from anything that has had either a head or tail. Told to me by a strict vegan. Also he was 6ft tall, blond, healthy looking, and fit, pity he was old enough to be my grandson. hehe true though. trish.

My son used to have a vegan girlfriend. They eat anything NOT connected to animals. She drank soya milk. She was coming for dinner one night and I stood in a queue for ages to buy her vegetarian cheese for her macaroni cheese (which is what we were having) and she couldnt eat it because it was made from animal milk! She was a lovely girl... I just could not feed her. Deanna
