needing a bit of sympathy tonight full of a cold no sleep exhausted didnt get to sleep till 6am coughing everytime i lay down any old remedies or medicene that did the trick for you please let me know Cough Cough please hurry luv sue x

Hi Susan, I had something similiar at xmas and new year, and I found that the day and night nurse tablets worked a treat with some cough mixture. Hope you feel better soon Nat

Jess, Sorry but what a load of old cobblers. When I have a cold I just get on with it, if it's realy nasty I'll take a day or two off work. Flu is a different proposition of course, but I've only ever had flu once, and I was in bed for a week. Over the last year or so I've heard loads of women on here whinge whinge whinge about having the flu ! Sounds like the arguements the wrong way around to me... Paul :o)

ps, the wife and I both had the cold over the last month too. really nasty, hard to shake off, she ended up with a chest infection
