Many of you will have seen the name Gillian Nattero (lives in Italy) on the GR General Board. Well, it’s now my turn, with ALL of you to wish Gillian all the luck in the world. Gillian, like me has cancer and tomorrow is one big nerve wrenching day for her. She goes to Milan to get the results of tests. Gillian was first diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago – had two operations and all went reasonably well – although this did leave her with a “Michelin arm” (her words, not mine). It appears to have come back and she has had the tests and the results are due tomorrow. Her daughter, who is unaware of the situation, is in Australia. Her son, who is aware, went to Argentina a month ago. So Gillian and her wonderful husband Piero are sharing these hard times and are there for each other. I just know how comforting a thread can be in a case like this. I do have Gillian’s permission to post this – so come on you lot – leave a message of encouragement for Gillian. It ain’t easy this cancer lark – I know (and by received emails know that a lot of you know too). Gillian – good luck for tomorrow honey – we are all here for you and Piero. Lots of love and hugs Gaynor xxxx
