Hello Jules? What language did this originate in? In my opinion it still requires a considerable amount of work. The sentences are far too long and I am struggling to understand much of it. Could you give us a clearer indication of the source and intent of the material? I gather it is a manual, art related, to help understand the pleasure to be gained from tapestries. Is that correct? I tried cutting and paste but I could not make it work. The original is in Portuguese, and I think she is offering to teach in a crash course of 6hours the secrets of rug makeing. I have promised to try and tackle it over the weekend. but it leaves me much amused and very confused! Jules

.Big Jules. I am going to be very blunt so please don't be offended.This is the type of English my foreign students from the African Continent wrote. They were always verbose and used words which used to make reading and understanding their text very difficult.I don't know where we lay the blame.They have obviously been taught from very old primers or from old colonial english.It is extremely difficult to get them to understand how to express themselves in simple english.It will not do at all for advertising. TRANSLATION. Tapestry making is a traditional skill practised for many generations. We can draw on the experience of tradional craftsmen and women and with patience learn this art for ourselves. In time we will be able to decorate our homes with beautiful decorative pieces which we have made ourselves,which will give us great pleasure. Working together we can enjoy the company of friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The Arts Manual will enable you to develope your skills in this traditional Craft. Hope this is OK-ROSE
