I haven't got a wife, but I would love to borrow someone else's - she could do all the laundry, cooking, shopping, cleaning, supervising children, remembering birthdays, arranging babysitters etc while I put my feet up!! nell

Frances in Norwich

Frances in Norwich Report 27 Jan 2005 19:41

A couple from Norwich were on recently, I heard them on the radio this morning saying they would never do it again and would not recommend anyone else doing it. They felt they were at the mercy of ruthless people who just wanted to make "good television" and were unfairly portrayed. I would never have considered it in the first place though! Frances

Definitely not. I've only seen the programme twice, the last time being this week's, and there's no way I'd want to be lumbered with the control-freak husbands I saw - or the idle loafer in the last one, although he did redeem himself a bit at the end by saying he'd learnt from his experience of being on it. I can assure everybody that not all of South London is as it was shown, nor are the family shown typical of most the people who live there! CB >|<
