Yes this one certainly is! My youngest is 20, lives at home and drives his own car, but I always offer to pick him up after he's been clubbing - even if it means getting out of my warm bed, as I did last month, to scrape off my car at 3am! I'd much rather do that than let him or any of his mates drive - even if they've only had one drink. I've also done it for my older kids, even though none of them live at home now. I'm also Grandma's Taxi Service. Today I picked up 2 grandchildren from school 5 miles from my house, then drove about 8 miles to collect my daughter from the hairdressers, then back into town to get Macdonalds for the kids, then 4 miles to daughter's house, then 5 miles back to my house! Good job my car is quite economical on petrol! No rest for the wicked! LOL Sue xx |

We had a farm when our boys were teenagers. It was great but we only had a bus on Tuesdays which returned on Thursdays.Never did find out where it went in between. So if the boys wanted to go anywhere guess who drove them- Rose |

I dont mind being a taxi service! Id rather do it than have the thoughts of him being stuck in the bus station at 10pm. He is only 12 and goes to sea cadets otherwise we would never allow him out at that time of night.. |

HI TRacy, they get a restricted licence at 15 so they can't drive their mates around and cant drive after 10pm or before 6 am. Its a good way of getting them used to driving |

My son is 16 and I still give him lifts everywhere, but he doesn't take advantage. Public transport isn't too good in the area surrounding our small town, so we feel it's safer if one of us runs him around. I change my msn login quite frequently, but by far the most regular one is Mandy Minicab! Mandy :) |
