May be worth applying for his birth cert as if he was adopted it would have a note to say so, just a shot in the dark.

HI guys, i am hoping someone in Aussie can help. My hubby has a son who would now be about 13. When he was 3 my hubby and the boy's mum split up. She later married and "conned" my hubby into signing adoption papers, but we are not sure if the adoption went through. I am trying to find out at the moment. The family moved to Australia, but i have no idea where. The child's birth name was Anthony Peet, but if he was adopted it would now be Anthony Orr. The parents would be Terry and Rebecca. We don't want to contact him as he may not even know he is adopted but would just like to know where he is and if he is ok. Thanks for any help Melanie
