I was at home thismorning on my own and although Later in the day I was to attend the funeral of my God Mother this wasn't on my mind as I went upstairs to sort out a handbag to take with me. Just as I had found it I heard someone a mans voice call Lynn...without thinking I shouted back Hi who is it Im in here........went and looked over the banisters ...Nobody....If anyone had come in the gate the dog would have barked,but I knew nobody had as the room I got the bag from overlooks the gate and I would have heard it. feels a bit unsettleing hearing voices on the day of a funeral but just wish I could pinpoint who the voice sounded like

Hi Lynne I hear a woman calling my name from time to time. I don't recognise the voice. I'm never sure if it's in my head or not. Makes you question your sanity doesn't it! lol Jeanette x

That just what I said to my neighbour when she came round some time later but the voice I heard was as clear as day and I'm sure it wasn't in my head and this has never happened before....very worrying but LOL. Lynn

Hi Lynn This morning while I was still asleep I heard a woman's voice say my name. I did not recognise the voice but I woke up to find that I had not set the alarm and it was time for my hubby to get up. Anne xx

I shouldn't worry too much about it Lynne. My Grandad died at the beginning of the month. He was an ex-submariner and the funeral was attended by a lot of his friends from the clubs he was a member of. I happened to look across the aisle to where they were all seated and saw a gentleman who was the spitting image of my Grandad. I didn't dare say anything to anyone just incase I upset them or they thought I was mad! lol. But a couple of days later me and Mum were clearing some things from Grandad's house and Mum piped up, did you see that man who looked just like your Grandad? So it turned out she'd seen him too. We've questioned quite a few people who were also at the funeral and they didn't see him. I wonder.........

I'm convinced spirit communicate with us while we are awake or asleep. Had all the experiences mentioned except the front door although had a spate of letterbox being knocked....no one there and no wind either. Glass front door so would see someone there. Viv

Twice when I have been lying in bed (not asleep I may add) and I have heard a distinct womans? voice whispering "Elaine". Both times the kids have been in bed asleep and hubby has been away. Elaine x

How flattering for you that a spirit wants to communicate.... I do hope it didn't spook you out, I'm sure it never meant to! Mine speak to me every night when I am asleep and I funny enough speak back without even knowing it.... have taped myself doing it.... weird feeling but nice to know they are there looking after me! Lynne from time to time l hear somebody calling my name, it is eerie. Jeanette, just read about you seeing a man who looked like your Grandad at the funeral, all the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck stood up it was really intense, frightened the life out of myself lol

Don't worry this is normal. Don't be frightened by it because it's actually quite comforting. It's happened to me a lot. Jo. X.

Anne, It was really odd cos It didn't frighten me or suprise me. But then the funeral began and I never looked round again. But neither me or my Mum saw him again. I thought I would have seen him for sure when we were lined up outside the chapel thanking everyone. I had 3 'experiences' with my Dad in the first year after he died too. I don't think they particularly helped but I feel priveledged to have had them. Jeanette x

Strange things happening in my house at the moment. I know we have spirits here and we all live happily together, so I am not worried, just amused by it. Yesterday, I was here alone, in the kitchen, talking to my hubby on the phone and the grill on the cooker turned on and today my daughter came running downstairs to tell me, she was working on her computer and her television turned on. m.

Lynn, i have experienced things like this a couple of times too. Would love to know for sure what it is. i have just finished reading a book by the medium Gordon smith. Very interesting. I would recommend it. he talks about things like this. Sarah

lynn i cant believe i just read this, i nipped out of work in my break yesterday and a few steps away from the shop , i heard my mums voice, it sounded like mum anyway, she called jul, thats what she always called me, 11 years shes been gone, i did look around and there was only 2 ladies stopped to chat, it made me smile but sad too

When i was ten , my nan came into my room while i was asleep, sat on the end of the bed was my other nan. Strange as she had been died 3 years earlier, but my nan saw her as clear as day.
