Can anyone help me please .Messages which I receive and send to my contacts I delete eventually , either immediately or later depending on cicumstances. I have not had any problems in removing all of them permanently with one exception. The list of sent and received messages is quite long and nothing I do will remove them. I have asked for help but have not received any reponse from GR. Has anyone else had this problem? Rupert Bear.

Rupert I get the same prob.I think I have deleted a message only to find it still there when next I look. Do you also delete and delete the delete on your own Outlook file. I do wonder if I only delete from GR site if the messages are still live on it if I have failed to delete the 'Message form GR' on my own system. Do you see what I'm getting at-Rose

Rupert, I wonder if it's governed by who made the first contact. Maybe you can only delete contacts which you have initiated, and the other person would have to delete contact with you to make it all disappear. Just a thought, but I wouldn't bank on getting replies from GR. They just don't as a rule. CB >|<

Thank you for the suggestions which you have made. Lindy in her the simple advice she gave I beleive is that which I use namely. 1) Receive mess ,Read, Reply ,or To In box or Delete. 2) Go to page headed Inbox, Sent messages, Your contacts 3)Go to contacts , Call up the contact you want. All messages to that contact will show ,with subject and date. Both sent and received will show. 4) Go to far right of page and click on icon. A new page will appear with delete or cancel. If you hit the delete mark the contact and all messages disappear. (never had them come back trouble is you have to find thread bearing the name of originator you want to send message to) 5) finally igo to Outlook express and delete GR's advice of message received. Long winded but done best to explain what I do Rupert Bear

Rupert, I think that I now understand the problem. Once a month I clear out my contacts and everthing disappears. However, should one of those contacts email me after I have cleared the contact list. Copies of all emails that have gone back and forth will reappear, but the minute I delete the contact is disappears until that same person contacts me again. In other words everything that is sent is recorded and can be hidden but not deleted entirely. I hope that makes sense! Lindy;-))
