Another natural one is fennel - seeds or plants - just chew it. I also gave it to my daughter when she was little - could get it bottled if i remember - as an alternative to gripe water. lol Goes without saying that everything should be checked as ok for preggy lady. :-)

Any lemonade in the house? It helps anything fizzy. Ann

Lay on your left side (obviously this particularly applies if the indigestion occurs when you're in bed). It sounds strange, but because of the way the stomach is arranged, laying on your left causes gravity to help. Actually, thinking about it, this is more for specifically acid indigestion, or heartburn, but it's useful to know nevertheless. Simon

Will stock up on Gaviscon tomorrow then and drink milk now. I think it tends to be when I haven't eaten for a whilse so I guess eating little and often might be the answer. Thanks guys Naomi x 13+5

peppermint water or cordial could try gaviscon, probably need to eat little and often in your delicate state. try to work out which foods cause it and avoid them, it is a common problem in pregnancy

It's very uncomfortable isn't it. I had it a lot in my first pregnancy and took Gaviscon liquid. I had to eat little and often, and I also had to sleep with lots of pillows to prop me up as it was worse when I lay down. nell
