More news ... The very helpful and very lovely Chris in NZ has very probably found a marriage for my NZ connection. So now I can order the cert and see if the father's name matches. Maz. XX

Brilliant news, Maz. Nice when you can share information. Hopefully, I'll be meeting up with some rellies next week to exchange information. Glad it's not just my lot who's eyes glaze over. Love Wendy

Maz Thrilled for you - and I do know the feeling - I wave a certificate under my husband's nose, or a map with a street where a relative lived, and he says "Hmm" in a bored way. nell

Very excited!! Have just received a package from my 3rd cousin! His wife (she's the one who does their research) has sent me certs and census printouts for all their side! Now I've gotta get on with copying ours for her. Hopefully we will be able to solve the mystery of my grandfather's visit to NZ now - its his rellie that he stowed away to visit! She's also got a little mystery on his side, so that will be summat else to get my teeth into! Just had to share with someone who won't glaze over - ie hubby! Maz. XX PS in case anyone is not sure, as 3rd cousins we share a gt gt grandfather - our gt grandfathers were brothers.
