Hey Diane, that's a nice idea. My son is a scout; I'm sure he'd love to camp at the scout hut to raise money for the appeal. Would you mind me suggesting that to our local scout leaders? Glenys x

When the containers arrive we have someone local on standby to both film and photograph the goods arrival and following them to their final destinations, we have a web site which currently details everything that happened here when the pics of arrival are posted I will let you know, simply cannot wait for the call to say goods have finally arrived, everyone has worked so hard non stop all month the final container left last weekend to much fanfare and tears.

That is fantastic! Let us know what happens when they get there too. We have seen lots of footage of the disaster but what I would really like to see on the news is the equipment being used and water pumps being turned on etc. Abigail

For those of you who tried to assist me with finding large strong boxes for our aid effort for the Tusnami victims in Sri Lanka you may like to know that we to date have send out four, forty foot containers of vital goods and equipment along with masses of medical equipment the first container is due to arrive early next week. A superb effort by local folk.
